    Dear Montclair Flowers and Gifts, I sent you an email earlier letting you know how pleased I was with the flowers that I ordered from you for my daughter, for Mother's Day. I am in Minnesota so it's hard to know where to get flowers for her, and now that I've found you, I plan to use you again.     Montclair Flowers and Gifts were absolutely amazing when providing flowers to my friends' sister's funeral in NJ. I am in MD and was not able to attend.     The bouquet was beautiful as usual. It was ready when promised and delivered into my hands with a warm greeting and a bottle of water to water it once placed on my mom’s grave. I don’t have many occasions to buy flowers these days, but when I do, Montclair Flowers and Gifts is my first thought.

    Ordered flowers for my son's bride and groom table. The flowers were beautiful! They were ready when he said they would be ready, they were fresh and the arrangements were just what I wanted. Substitution Policy

In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.

Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.

If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

At Montclair Flowers And Gifts, we are committed to providing fresh, beautiful floral arrangements delivered with care and professionalism. The following delivery policy is designed to ensure the best experience for our customers and recipients.

Delivery Area

We proudly deliver to the following communities:

  • Montclair/Upper Montclair

  • Glen Ridge

  • Bloomfield

  • Verona

  • Cedar Grove

  • Clifton

  • Nutley

  • Belleville

  • West Orange

  • East Orange

  • Orange

  • South Orange

  • Maplewood

  • Livingston

  • The Caldwells (North, West and Caldwell)

  • Essex Fells

  • Roseland

  • Essex and portions of Passaic, Bergen and Union Counties

If you are unsure whether we deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order.

Note: We do have a variety of delivery charges, based on town and distance. The delivery charge covers the cost of fuel, mileage and wear and tear on delivery vehicles. If you would like to provide a separate tip for the driver, you are welcomed to do so.

Delivery Hours

Monday – Saturday

  • 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Unless separate arrangements have been made)

Sunday

  • Shop Pickup Only. Limited holiday deliveries only.

  • Deliveries outside of our normal delivery hours are available, if given enough notice and an additional delivery charge may be applied separately.

We are closed on most major holidays except those traditionally associated with floral gifting.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available on select products for orders placed online:

  • Before 9:00AM Monday through Saturday

  • No Delivery Service Available on Sunday unless prior arrangements have been made

  • Limited Same-Day Delivery Available. We recommend calling our shop to check availability.

Orders received after the cutoff time will be delivered the next available business day whenever possible.

During major floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Administrative Professionals Day, etc.), earlier ordering is highly recommended.

Delivery Time Requests

While we will make every effort to accommodate requested delivery times, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time due to:

  • Traffic

  • Weather

  • Hospital and business delivery schedules

  • High holiday volume

  • Multiple delivery routes

Funeral services and time-sensitive events receive priority scheduling.

Recipient Availability

If the recipient is unavailable:

Our driver may:

  • Leave the flowers in a safe, weather-protected location.

  • Leave them with a receptionist, front desk, or neighbor (when appropriate).

  • Contact the recipient to arrange a safe delivery.

If no safe delivery location is available, the arrangement may be returned to our shop.

A second delivery attempt may require an additional delivery charge.

Apartment Buildings

Customers should provide:

  • Apartment number

  • Building access code

  • Recipient phone number

If access cannot be obtained, delivery may be delayed or rescheduled.

Hospital Deliveries

Hospital deliveries depend upon:

  • Hospital policies

  • Patient admission status

  • Patient room availability

If a patient has been discharged or cannot receive flowers, we will contact the purchaser to discuss alternative arrangements. Additional delivery charge may be applied based on where patient will be receiving Flowers.

Business Deliveries

Business deliveries are made during normal business hours.

Please ensure:

  • Company name

  • Department

  • Floor number

  • Recipient's full name are included with your order.

We are not responsible for deliveries delayed because the recipient has already left work, if we have to leave in the reception area or within a designated delivery area.

Funeral Deliveries

Funeral arrangements receive the highest delivery priority.

Please provide:

  • Funeral home/Place of Worship name

  • Service time

  • Deceased's full name

Orders should be placed as early as possible. If being delivered to a place of worship, please provide place of worship phone number so we can reach out to coordinate delivery time.

Weather Delays

The safety of our employees comes first.

During severe weather, deliveries may be delayed until travel conditions improve.

We will notify customers whenever possible.

If weather is not favorable for product to be left, delivery will be delayed until weather improves.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

If an incorrect address is supplied:

  • Additional delivery fees may apply.

  • Delivery may be delayed.

  • Perishable products cannot be refunded if delivered to the address provided by the customer.

Delivery Confirmation

Upon request, we are happy to provide confirmation that your order has been delivered. Depending on the delivery volume and/or holiday volume, delivery confirmation may be delayed by 24-48 hours.

Substitutions

Because flowers are seasonal and availability changes daily, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

If substitutions are required, our designers will maintain:

  • The overall style

  • Color palette

  • Value

  • Freshness

  • Using flowers of equal or greater value.

Holiday Deliveries

During major floral holidays:

  • Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

  • During the major floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc), businesses and schools receive priority delivery times.

  • Orders are delivered throughout the day.

  • Due to extremely high volume, we cannot accommodate specific delivery times.

  • Depending on increased holiday volume, we can initiate a delivery cutoff schedule to make sure that all deliveries are processed and delivered accordingly in a timely fashion.

We recommend placing holiday orders several days in advance.

Refund Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 1 day of delivery for damaged or defective products. Please contact us to arrange your return. A photo must be sent at the time of notice to us before any returns or exchanges will be accepted so we can see what was damaged. If product is being exchanged, the damaged product must be either given to the delivery driver at the time of exchange, or brought into the store and exchanged here.

Depending on payment method, refunds are usually processed immediately. For credit/debit card payments, please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. For cash and check payments, a store credit will be issued for use at a later date.
